Yay! A couple of weeks ago, Utrecht Stories was nominated as 'Utrecht Site of the Week' in the local newspaper Ons Utrecht (Our Utrecht). And we've won! 200 euro, worth 200 dollars. We're thinking about some promotional things to do with the money. Marrije and I are both very busy at the moment, but when we've got the time (at the end of the week, I presume), new stories will follow. |

A couple of months ago Utrecht Stories went offline. The hosting provider caused a lot of trouble, and it was time to move. The new host was not better, on the contrary. Due to the new Windows NT-server, Utrecht Stories couldn't get up anymore. Meanwhile, I finished my study Journalism and got a full-time job. That didn't help either. Now we're back. Thanks to Eend (Ivo, Robert Jan and Marrije). Have a look at the new and improved Utrecht Stories! The English section has been expanded and opens with two brand new stories: Rubber Lane and Modern Times. |

Utrecht Stories is down at the moment. In august, I moved the site to different host. Host number 1 was not very good. The server had a lot of downtime and was kind of sluggish. Server number 2 was very promising. Servers were located in The Netherlands and quite cheap to rent. Boy, was I wrong! |

Waiting for the stories to come in our minds. Waiting for the redesign. Waiting for the translations, made by Wendy. Waiting for some time to make pretty pictures of the medieval city. I don't like to wait, but in Utrecht waiting is an art. In Utrecht's dialect 'Waaach maôr jochie' (Wait a minute, boy) is a well known sentence. That's why Utrecht has a wonderful Post Office. |
