The first new SF Story in one and a half years: The Goth St. Pauly Girl: "I look up from my coffee and - oh my God - there's this woman."

So this is two bad day stories in a row. A trend? I hope not.

New in San Francisco Stories: The little voice: "Someday I'm going to start listening to that little voice. Also, I'm going to stay in bed every Monday."

When life hands you a bad day, at least you can make a story out of it.

New in San Francisco Stories: One of those days: "My daydream is interrupted when the grumpy Asian woman gets up to leave. I look up and see the Muni driver in the car. Never a good sign."

You think I need to be physically threatened to write a new SF Story these days? Maybe not, but it doesn't hurt. Much.

San Francisco Stories ended its intermission today with two stories (that had previously appeared on my home page, but still): The Secrets of Cole Valley and Oh My Aching Legs.

To commemorate the fourth birthday of SF Stories, the kind folks at So New Media (a punk lit book company that "puts the best web writers on paper"), have compiled the best of SF Stories into a book, which is now for sale. It even includes a story that was never on the website. So I hope you'll consider picking up a copy. Makes a great gift!
