Martijn-Utrecht says: Grand Prize! 29 Jul 02 // 2:06PM

Yay! A couple of weeks ago, Utrecht Stories was nominated as 'Utrecht Site of the Week' in the local newspaper Ons Utrecht (Our Utrecht). And we've won! 200 euro, worth 200 dollars. We're thinking about some promotional things to do with the money. Marrije and I are both very busy at the moment, but when we've got the time (at the end of the week, I presume), new stories will follow.

Gien-Nijmegen says: Soccer Fan 27 Jul 02 // 12:10AM

A new story, this time in Dutch, has been published at Nijmegen Stories last week. So, all you dutchies around the globe, all you who study Dutch, who read and speak Dutch: come, read & practice! ;-)

Derek-SF says: Happy birthday! 22 Jul 02 // 5:26PM

Last week, our birthday slipped by quietly. The City Stories Project is one year old! We grew to 23 sites in one year - that's a new site almost every two weeks. Congrats, everyone! To celebrate, take a trip through our ever-growing archives and enjoy a story or two.

...of Canada, that is. Ottawa Stories is thrilled to be the (second?) newest part of the City Stories network! The site currently features five stories and a bunch of photos for your reading and viewing pleasure. More stories added as I find ghostwriters to hire and money to pay them with. Check it out!

Salvatore-SanDiego says: 4 Julio in San Diego 10 Jul 02 // 6:25PM

I was on my way home from a barbecue at a friend's house when I saw the bright flashes reflecting against the thick blanket of clouds covering the city. I had committed the gravest of sins: I had forgotten about the fireworks.

Stop by and read about Roman Candles and other things July 4th.

Tanja-Leiden says: leiden has a new story 9 Jul 02 // 11:04AM

Leiden Stories has been very quiet for a while, but now there's a new story in the end. It's in dutch, and it tells about the Burcht.

It's hot. Humid. Sticky. Chicago is alive in the summer, and Chicago Stories is back with two new entries!

Jackie Fitzgerald's REAL Chicago takes us on a tour through Chicago's south side, while my story, That Smell, has to do with a peculiar odor on the El.

We're back - and it's your turn to tell your Chicago Story!
