Karl-Philadelphia says: New Weblog & Bookmarks at PhillyStories 26 Dec 01 // 8:35AM

We've added a special weblog category & page to PhillyStories to point to interesting stories about Philadelphia that are on other sites.

We've gotten our bookmark section online and are accepting requests to add bookmarks.

Caroline-Amsterdam says: Your stories fixed 25 Dec 01 // 10:06AM

Good news. We've finally fixed the 'Your Stories' feature at Amsterdam Stories and brought the old entries back on line. Made them legible too, which I'm sure will please our readers.

Happy Christmas from The Netherlands.

Fabrizio-Rome says: Love, sorrow and irony in the eternal city (part1) 23 Dec 01 // 12:42AM

Last week my wife Elisabetta lost her beloved grandma; it was really hard for her, but we are sure that if grandma Giulia could have seen all that happened on the funeral day she would have laughed happily. Sometimes life presents itself so intensely that you cry, and laugh, and love on the same long day. Rome Stories is finally back with part 1 of a new story. Love, sorrow and irony in the eternal city (part1).

Karl-Philadelphia says: Two new stories 22 Dec 01 // 10:55AM

Two new user posted stories are up at PhillyStories. ModernGypsy posts Every Man A Story about people watching, and Stephanie posts Lame about South Street and cliques.

Steve-Portland says: Portland Stories: A Net Community 5 Dec 01 // 3:36PM

Last month a columnist from Computer Bits magazine contacted me about Portland Stories. After a brief interview over e-mail, she produced this rather thoughtful story on online communities as well as reprinting the first Portland Story, We Begin Again.

Paul-Chicago says: The SheEl Game 5 Dec 01 // 2:26PM

In my months of riding the Red Line, only once did I receive true entertainment onboard. Loud voices and - could that be? - applause. I looked over to my left, beyond the rows of anonymous backs-of-heads to find a man sitting in the center seat. His right hand balanced a folded Sun-Times, upon which were three small purple caps. That's right - he was playing the shell game. The SheEl Game, new at Chicago Stories.

Philip-Halifax says: Halifax Stories 5 Dec 01 // 11:32AM

Halifax Stories is now live. Feel free to drop by and say hello.

Derek-SF says: Big in Detroit! 4 Dec 01 // 12:34PM

The City Stories Project got some good press today. The Detroit News called us: "A brilliant example of the dedication and beauty of the independant web." Maybe this will inspire someone in Detroit to start a City Stories site! Any takers?

Erik-Seattle says: 2 New Stories 1 Dec 01 // 12:33PM

We recently promoted one of our best writers, Eric Nygren, to a Supervisor in Seattle. This means his stories are listed on the front page in the "Our Stories" section along with the creators of the site. He's got two new stories up there now: There But For and the award-winning Doppelganger. For more of Eric's stories, you can check out his profile page.
