The Manila Bank Arcade had the comic shop that got me started reading and collecting comic books. It was a Marvel comic, but I can’t remember if it was The Defenders, The Avengers or The Fantastic Four. Comic books cost P12.00 back then, P9.00 if they were coverless. I became a Filbar’s Comics Club member, and a Fantastic Four true-believer, wishing I had the powers of the Invisible Girl so I could sneak out more often. Naughty Season, new at Manila Stories. |
